Of food & squash.

YO wassup everyone... hahaha... It's been quite some time weh bloggie... How is you doin' maan.. lol... (ok tht was lame)

Anyway, my b'day's next week so dad n mum decided to take me for a nice dinner at Tamarind Hill, a super uber exotic and nice restaurant.





The 1st thing u'll see when u reach the restaurant... after that is the pathway lighted with candles...
I tell u damn syok 1 wehh... Super nice 1..



I was allowed to bring 2 friends along... so i asked JT and Jimbo coz both of 'em are staying nearby, and also JT's b'day is like 1 day after mine... so celebrate together-gether la.. hahaha... and of course my "dai lou" was there as well.. hehe

Snack before the starters... it's like keropok... it IS keropok la actually, but the sauce is "yat lao" man... haha
Oh yea, I forgot to mention, Tamarind Hill serves Thai style food... well, not all are thai la, but most of them are... aiya, u get what i mean la.




Now, these are the starters. On the left, we have pomelo salad, bottom right, I think it's another salad but forgotten what it is, and the 1 that's standing tall is... uhhh... is... something that only the emperor gets to eat last time... or something like that la... hahaha.. all i know that it's very the grand 1... U put all the stuff into the leaf and wrap it up, then dunk it in some sort of chilli sauce thing... All 3 starters are super Yum! man. haha

Now for the maincourses... we had rice to go along with all of it.




These are beansprouts... duhh'... haha.. looks quite normal la.... But, but i tell u hor... it's dem super nice 1!!!... (yea right.. who am i kidding... it tastes like normal "dau geh" actually... lawl!!!1!!11!!)




SOTONG!!!! hahhaha...This 1 is nice.. no kdding 1... it's abit spicy but the overall flavour is "ichiban"!



Kang-kung belacan, 1 of my favourite veges, and behind it is Mango fish... waaah, I tell u the fish is just... *drool drool*.. and the kang-kung is also.. *drool drool, slurp*.. haha.. simply the best man.. the fish dem crunchy oo... but got lots of bones la... (omg, like.. who doesn't know that right?)




Green curry... a classic thai dish... it's like soup man, yum yum... but if u take too much u'll get "jelak" very easily.. yup yup..

Lol... I guess that's it for the pics.. my cam died right before the dessert came... all because i didn't charge it before we came out... argghh.. dem cha dou...

Oh yaa, we had water chesnut with cocnut milk... wahhhh i tell u... it's marvellous man... haha

Just so u know, i'm a sucker for sweet stuff and dessert... lol...*hint hint*

Well, overall the whole dinner was just fantastic and the enviroment is really nice too... except for those stupid mossies la... We makan the food.. they makan our blood.. haha

And dad, for driving us monkeys there.. hehehe...
And bro, for taking time out from WoW to makan with us...
And James, for agreeing to go when i called u the last minute...
And JT, for not going back to Ampang but instead came n makan with us.. haha

Now let us talk about somthing else.. hahah... If u made it this far, it means that you won't mind reading a lil more right?

Okay, since exploration week started, I've also started sweating... alot... No, it's not because of assgns and stuff... what i mean is litterally sweating.. hahaha...

Since last monday, I've been playing squash like almost every alternate days with "some people"... hahaha...(sure gonna kena whack adi)... uhhh.. yea, played squash last Monday, thursday, saturday, and today...

In 1 week i played squash 4 times man... siao gila tired wey.. haha...
But it's worth it la, coz i got to know a new friend.. cheh wahh... bangga la u, steph.. haha

ANDDDD... i finally beat my dad in squash!!! WOOO HOOO!!!! (does the samantha dance again.. hahaha, wey sam, u must belanja me yum cha adi... mention ur name twice liao.. HAHA)
But it wasn't really fair la.. coz dad went to the gym on saturday morning and the game was on the same afternoon at 3pm... haha.. nvm nvm... 1 day i'll beat u fair n square wey, old beans(lou dao) hahaha

My new "tou dai" not bad wey.. pick squash up very fast ooo... hahaha... eh she calls me sifu 1 ok? hahaha... i oso bangga la got ppl call me sifu.. haha..

Anyway, we (royce, steph & I) started playing on last monday... steph really enjoyed it (glad u did wey), so we played again on thursday coz someone was craving for squash since last monday.. hahaha... then today played again.. but royce wasn't there la...

Had a good game la today.. she finally won me in the last set... hahaha... 3 games already can win ur sifu... i guess i wasn't meant to be 1 to start off la.. hahaha...

Wahh after squash both of us like arm pain la... leg pain la... haha dem funny lor see steph walking like... hahaha.. dun wanna say.. later kena pounding sure dem "siong" 1... lol..anyway, good job today wey... or shud i say yesterday? haha.. its already tuesday now... ughhh...

Well, actually I'm glad to know that there're girls that still are active in sports, since well, from what I see now most of them are just interested in shopping and stuff... but not sports.. haha...at least i know 3 girls that are quite active la... hehe... right? sam, ju and steph?? haha...

Okla i think that's it la... It's already like 2am now... need to go sleep.. so tired.. haha.. tmr sure the legs very "shuin" (sour.. haha) 1...and summore still got meeting at 2pm... sei lor...

p.s. I think I finally got back my ability to say lame things and laugh at it like an idiot. haha
